This report is the third edition of the study of the sulfuric acid market in Kazakhstan.

Market monitoring has been conducted since 2005.

The purpose of the study is to analyze the Kazakh market for sulfuric acid.

The object of study is sulfuric acid.

This work is a desk study. The databases of the United Nations (UNdata), the Statistics Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the customs statistics of the Russian Federation and the official statistics of railway transportation of the Russian Federation were used as sources of information; materials of industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of issuers of securities, websites of enterprises-producers and consumers of sulfuric acid in Kazakhstan, as well as the Infomine database.

Chronological scope of the study: 2000-2022; forecast - 2023-2030

Geography of the study: Republic of Kazakhstan - a comprehensive detailed analysis of the market.

A distinctive feature of this study is the comparison of the cost and profitability of sulfuric acid production using different raw materials (sulfur and industrial waste gases).

The report consists of 6 parts, contains 86 pages, including 17 tables, 29 figures and an appendix.

The first chapter of the report provides a brief description of the technology for the production of sulfuric acid, data on the raw materials used in Kazakhstan, the cost and profitability of production.

The second chapter is devoted to the analysis of sulfuric acid production in Kazakhstan in 2000-2022. Data on the volume and structure of production are given, the current state of the largest manufacturing enterprises is considered. Information is also provided on ongoing projects for the construction of new sulfuric acid plants.

The third chapter presents the price analysis of the sulfuric acid market. The dynamics of prices in the domestic market of Kazakhstan, as well as export-import prices in 2005-2022, is given. In addition, the forecast of prices for sulfuric acid in Kazakhstan for the period up to 2030 is given.

The fourth chapter of the report analyzes foreign trade operations with sulfuric acid in Kazakhstan in 2005-2022. Statistical data on the volume of foreign trade operations, the regional structure of exports and imports of the reagent are given.

The fifth chapter is devoted to the analysis of sulfuric acid consumption in Kazakhstan in 2007-2022. In this section, the production-consumption balance is presented, the sectoral consumption structure is assessed, the current state of the consuming industries and the largest sulfuric acid consuming enterprises is described.

The sixth and final chapter provides a forecast for the development of the sulfuric acid market in Kazakhstan for the period up to 2030.

The appendix contains contact details of the largest enterprises-producers and consumers of sulfuric acid in Kazakhstan.

Target audience of the study:

- participants in the sulfuric acid market - producers, consumers, traders;

- potential investors.

The proposed study purports to be a reference tool for marketing and decision makers working in the sulfuric acid market.
