This report is the first edition of a lime market research on steel production in Russia and Kazakhstan.

Market monitoring has been conducted since 2013.

The purpose of the study - an analysis of the Russian and Kazakhstan market of lime, which is used in the smelting of steel.

The object of study - lime (quicklime and slaked), which is used in the smelting of steel.

In preparing this report, the experts of InfoMine used data from the Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation (Rosstat), the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, rail transportation statistics, Statistics Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, railway transportation statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan customs statistics, materials of the annual and quarterly reports of issuers of securities, materials of various analytical companies, materials of central and regional mass media, data of Internet sites of the enterprises described, etc.

The chronological framework of the study: 2013-2017, assessment 2018 and forecast to 2023

Geography research: Russian Federation, Republic of Kazakhstan - a comprehensive detailed analysis of the market.

 

The report consists of 6 chapters, contains 187 pages, including 87 tables, 35 figures and an appendix.

The first chapter of the report is devoted to the current state and analysis of the development of the ferrous metallurgy of Russia and Kazakhstan. This section provides information on the production of iron, steel and rolled products in Russia and Kazakhstan in 2013-2017, with an assessment of indicators 2018, The data on the main enterprises of ferrous metallurgy in Russia and Kazakhstan, including production volumes and production development plans are presented.

The second chapter analyzes lime production in Russia and Kazakhstan for the period 2013-2017, with an assessment of the situation in 2018

The chapter discusses the main types and quality indicators produced slaked and quicklime.

The production of hydrated and quicklime in Russia and Kazakhstan is analyzed, information on the main producers of these products in the countries in question is presented.

The third chapter of the report presents data on the assessment of demand for slaked and quicklime in the production of steel in Russia and Kazakhstan in 2013-2017, with an estimate of 2018, including for individual enterprises.

The fourth chapter of the report analyzes the factors that influence the lime market (for ferrous metallurgy enterprises in Russia and Kazakhstan) and presents a forecast for the use of lime until 2023.

In the fifth chapter of the report, analysis of prices for marketable lime in the markets of Russia and Kazakhstan is carried out.

The sixth chapter of the study presents data on the main enterprises of the ferrous metallurgy of Russia and Kazakhstan (contacts, addresses, capacity assessment).

The appendix contains the address data of some participants in the lime market in Russia and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
