This report is the sixteenth edition of the sodium sulfate market research in Russia and the EAEU countries.

Market monitoring has been carried out since 2002.

The purpose of the study is to analyze the Russian and EAEU markets for sodium sulfate.

The object of study is sodium sulfate.

The work presented is a desk research. Data from the statistical committees of the EAEU countries (including Rosstat, the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan) were used as sources of information; UN international databases (UNdata), World Bank, Eurostat; international and European trade data (UN Comtrade, Trade Map); Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation (until 2022); Unified information system in the field of procurement; railway transport statistics; VLSI databases; foreign specialized companies; annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers; industry and regional press, conference materials, Internet sites of manufacturing enterprises and consumers of the products under study; scientific and technical literature (elibrary, etc.), FIPS patent database; Infomine database, etc.

Chronological scope of the study: 2000-2023; forecast up to 2030

Geography of the study: Russian Federation – comprehensive detailed market analysis; The Republic of Kazakhstan, Belarus and other EAEU countries - general retrospective market analysis.

The report consists of 6 parts, contains 143 pages, including 57 tables, 29 figures and 2 appendices.

The first chapter of the report provides information about existing technologies for the production of sodium sulfate, their features, the raw materials required for production, as well as the current capacities of manufacturing enterprises.

The second chapter is devoted to the analysis of sodium sulfate production for the period 2000-2023. in the EAEU. This section provides the requirements of existing regulatory and technical documentation for the quality of sodium sulfate, statistics on the production of these products, assesses the structure of production by country and enterprise, and describes the main producers of sodium sulfate.

The third chapter analyzes foreign trade operations with sodium sulfate in Russia and the EAEU countries in 2000-2023. Data on the volumes of exports and imports of the products under study are provided, and the regional structure of supplies is assessed.

The fourth chapter provides information on the price level for sodium sulfate on the domestic Russian market, and also analyzes data on changes in export-import prices for these products in 2008-2023.

The fifth chapter of the report shows the balance of production and consumption of sodium sulfate in Russia in 2000-2023, assesses the industrial structure of consumption of the products under study, analyzes the factors determining the demand for sodium sulfate in the domestic market, describes the main sectors of consumption and consumer enterprises of sodium sulfate.

The sixth chapter of the report is devoted to the forecast for the development of production and consumption of sodium sulfate in Russia and the EAEU for the period up to 2030.

The appendices provide the addresses and contact information of the main manufacturers and consumers of sodium sulfate.

Target audience of the study:

- sulfuric acid market participants – producers, consumers, traders;

- potential investors.

The proposed study purports to be a reference guide for marketing services and management decision-makers working in the sodium sulfate market.
