This report is the fifteenth edition of the study of the sodium sulfate market in Russia and the CIS countries.
Market monitoring has been conducted since 2002.
The purpose of the study is to analyze the Russian and CIS markets for sodium sulfate.
The object of study is sodium sulfate.
This work is a desk study. As sources of information, the databases of the UN (UNdata), the Statistical Committees of the CIS countries (including Rosstat, the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the Agency on Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan), customs statistics of the Russian Federation and Ukraine, official statistics of railway transportation of the Russian Federation were used; materials of industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of issuers of securities, websites of enterprises-producers and consumers of sulfuric acid, as well as the Infomine database.
Timeline of the study: 2000-2022; forecast - 2023-2030
Research geography: Russian Federation - comprehensive detailed market analysis; Ukraine, Republic of Kazakhstan, Belarus and other CIS countries - a general retrospective analysis of the market.
The report consists of 6 parts, contains 148 pages, including 58 tables, 29 figures and 2 appendices.
The first chapter of the report provides information about the existing technologies for the production of sodium sulfate, their features, the raw materials required for the production, as well as the operating capacities of manufacturing enterprises.
The second chapter is devoted to the analysis of sodium sulfate production for the period 2000-2022. in the CIS. This section contains the requirements of the existing regulatory and technical documentation for the quality of sodium sulfate, statistics on the production of these products, the production structure by countries and enterprises is assessed, and the main producers of sodium sulfate are described.
The third chapter analyzes foreign trade operations with sodium sulfate in Russia, Ukraine and the CIS in 2000-2022. Data on the volumes of exports and imports of the products under study are given, and the regional structure of deliveries is assessed.
The fourth chapter provides information on the level of prices for sodium sulfate in the domestic Russian market, and also analyzes data on changes in export-import prices for these products in 2008-2022.
The fifth chapter of the report presents the balance of production and consumption of sodium sulfate in Russia in 2000-2022, assesses the sectoral structure of consumption of the products under study, analyzes the factors that determine the demand for sodium sulfate in the domestic market, describes the main consumption sectors and consumer enterprises of sodium sulfate.
The sixth chapter of the report is devoted to the forecast for the development of production and consumption of sodium sulfate in Russia and the CIS for the period up to 2030.
The appendices contain the addresses and contact information of the main manufacturers and consumers of sodium sulfate.
Target audience of the study:
- participants in the sulfuric acid market - producers, consumers, traders;
- potential investors.
The proposed study purports to be a reference tool for marketing and management decision makers working in the sodium sulfate market.
