This report is the third edition of the Russian Automotive Catalyst Unit Market Study.
The purpose of the study is to analyze the Russian market for automotive catalyst blocks (autocatalysts).
The object of the research is catalyst blocks for vehicle exhaust gas neutralizers.
The work is mainly desk research. As sources of information, data from the Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation (Rosstat), railway traffic statistics, customs statistics of the Russian Federation, and the Infomine database were used. Materials of industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of issuers of securities, websites of manufacturers and consumers of catalysts, as well as scientific and technical literature were also involved.
In addition, in the process of preparing the study, telephone interviews were conducted with representatives of enterprises participating in the autocatalyst market.
Chronological scope of the study: 2001-2022; forecast - 2023-2030
Research geography: Russia.
Scope of the study: the report consists of 8 parts, contains 82 pages, including 27 tables, 27 figures and 2 appendices.
The first chapter of the report is devoted to the classification of automobile exhaust gas converters.
The second chapter provides information about the raw materials needed for the production of autocatalysts, their characteristics. In addition, data on the main suppliers of raw materials are given.
The third chapter is devoted to the production of autocatalysts in Russia. This section presents the production volumes of the products under consideration by the main manufacturers, as well as a detailed description of the current state of the largest Russian manufacturers of autocatalysts, foreign companies that have founded their subsidiaries in Russia to produce them.
The fourth chapter provides data on foreign trade operations with autocatalysts in Russia in 2001-2022. In addition, a description of the main foreign companies-suppliers of catalyst blocks is given.
The fifth chapter provides information on the level of export-import prices for autocatalysts in 2001-2022.
The sixth chapter examines the consumption of autocatalysts in Russia in 2002-2022. This section presents the balance of production - consumption of these products, as well as the current state and prospects for the development of the Russian automotive industry.
The seventh chapter provides information on the state of recycling of used autocatalysts in Russia, its prospects for the near future.
The eighth chapter of the review is devoted to the forecast for the development of the Russian market of autocatalysts for the period up to 2030.
The appendix contains the addresses and contact information of enterprises producing and consuming autocatalysts.
