This report is the fourth edition of the study of the stainless steel pipes market in Russia.
The market has been monitored since 1995.
The purpose of the study is to analyze the stainless steel pipes market in Russia in 2019-2024.
The object of the study is welded and seamless stainless steel pipes.
The presented work is a desk study. The following sources of information were used: data from the statistical committees of the EAEU countries (including Rosstat, the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus); international UN databases (UNdata), World Bank, Eurostat; international and European trade data (UN Comtrade, Trade Map); the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation (until 2022); the Unified Information System in the Sphere of Procurement; railway transportation statistics; SBIS database; foreign specialized companies; annual and quarterly reports of issuers of securities; industry and regional press, conference materials, Internet sites of manufacturing enterprises and consumers of the studied products; scientific and technical literature (elibrary, etc.), the FIPS patent database; the InfoMine database and websites of enterprises producing and consuming stainless steel pipes.
The chronological scope of the study: 2019-2023 and the first half of 2024; forecast - 2025-2035.
Research geography: Russian Federation, other countries (volumes of stainless steel pipe production, foreign trade).
The report consists of 7 parts, contains 132 pages, including 60 tables, 33 figures and 1 appendix.
The first chapter of the report provides data on the properties, composition and grades of stainless steels, stainless steel smelting technology, features of stainless steel pipe production, raw materials for the production of stainless steel pipes.
The second chapter of the report is devoted to the analysis of the situation on the global stainless steel market. The article presents data on the production of stainless steel in individual regions and countries of the world in dynamics (2019-2023, first half of 2024), analysis of the world trade in stainless steel pipes.
The third chapter of the report analyzes the situation with the production of stainless steel pipes in Russia. It presents data on the leading Russian companies that produce stainless steel pipes.
The fourth chapter of the study analyzes Russia's foreign trade in stainless steel pipes, including welded and seamless ones, in 2019-2023 and the first half of 2024.
The fifth chapter of the report presents data on price trends in the Russian stainless steel market. It analyzes data on the level of export and import prices for stainless steel pipes.
The sixth chapter of the report analyzes the consumption of stainless steel pipes in Russia in 2019-2023 and the first half of 2024, including the balance of consumption of welded and seamless pipes. The structure of stainless steel pipe consumption by industry and information about their main importers are presented.
The seventh chapter is devoted to the forecast of production and consumption of stainless steel pipes in Russia for the period up to 2035.
The appendix provides addresses and contact information about stainless steel pipe market participants.
