This report is the second edition of a study of the current state of the potassium xanthate market in the Russian Federation, the CIS and Georgia.
The purpose of the study is to analyze the potassium xanthate market.
The object of research is potassium xanthate.
The work is a desk study. As sources of information, data from Rosstat, statistics on railway transportation of the Russian Federation, the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, the UNdata and Trade Map databases, and the Infomine database were used. The data of the committees on statistics of the CIS countries, industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of issuers of securities, websites of manufacturing enterprises and consumers of potassium xanthate were also involved.
Timeline of the study: 2017-2021; 2022 - assessment, forecast - 2023-2030
Research geography: Russia, CIS countries and Georgia - a comprehensive market analysis.
Scope of the study: the report consists of 6 parts, contains 95 pages, including 33 tables, 14 figures and 2 appendices.
The first chapter of the report describes the technology for the production of potassium xanthate, the raw materials for the production of this product and the quality requirements for the produced xanthate in the Russian Federation / CIS.
The second chapter of the report is devoted to the study of the production of potassium xanthate in the Russian Federation/CIS in 2017-2022. The section contains data on the release of this reagent. The chapter also analyzes the current state of the main producers of potassium xanthate in the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
The third chapter of the report analyzes the foreign trade operations of the CIS with potassium xanthate in 2017-2022. Data on the volumes of exports and imports of the products under study are given, and the regional structure of deliveries is assessed. The main exporters and importers of potassium xanthate have been identified.
The fourth chapter of the report is devoted to the analysis of the price situation in the market for this product in the Russian Federation in 2017-2021. This section considers the dynamics of changes in export-import prices for potassium xanthate in recent years.
In the fifth chapter of the report, devoted to the consumption of this reagent in the Russian Federation/CIS, the structure of the domestic market for the use of potassium xanthate is calculated, the production-consumption balances of this product are given, and the dynamics of "apparent" consumption is assessed.
The section also provides an analysis of the factors that determine the demand for the products under study, and considers the main consumer sectors of xanthogenates.
The sixth and final chapter of the report is devoted to the forecast for the production and consumption of potassium xanthate in the Russian Federation in 2022-2030. The forecast of consumption of the studied products is given, based on the forecast of the development of the main industries using potassium xanthates.
The appendices contain contact information of the main manufacturers and consumers of this reagent in the Russian Federation/CIS.
