The purpose of the research is to analyze the coal tar market.
The object of the research is coal tar, the report also touches upon the coal tar pitch and carbon black market.
This work is a desk study. The following sources of information were used: data from statistical committees of the EAEU countries (including Rosstat, the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan); international databases of the UN (UNdata), World Bank, Eurostat; data on international and European trade (UN Comtrade, Trade Map); the Unified Information System in the Sphere of Procurement; statistics of railway transportation; the SBIS database; foreign specialized companies; annual and quarterly reports of issuers of securities; industry and regional press, conference materials, websites of enterprises-producers and consumers of the studied products; scientific and technical literature (elibrary, etc.), the FIPS patent database; the InfoMine database, etc.
Chronological framework of the research: 1998-2024; forecast - until 2030.
Geography of the research: the market of the Russian Federation.
Volume of the research: the report consists of 6 parts, contains 59 pages, including 17 tables, 19 figures and 1 appendix.
The first chapter of the report provides information on the technology of production and processing of coal tar. This chapter also examines the state of coke-chemical production in Russia, and provides an analysis of coking coal supplies to Russian enterprises.
The second chapter of the report is devoted to the production of coal tar in Russia in 1999-2024. This section of the report provides statistics on the production of tar at Russian enterprises. Part of the chapter is devoted to an overview of the main producers of coal tar in Russia (production dynamics, consumers, export activities), 7 enterprises are considered.
The third chapter is devoted to the analysis of foreign trade operations with coal tar in Russia in 1999-2024. At the same time, export-import statistics, directions and volumes of supplies, including the main exporters and importers are presented.
The fourth chapter provides information on export and import prices for products in Russia in 1999-2024.
The fifth chapter of the report examines the consumption of coal tar in Russia. This section provides a balance of production and consumption of this product in Russia (1999-2024), the structure of product consumption in Russia. It also provides the main consumers and areas of use of this product in Russia.
The sixth chapter provides a forecast for the production and consumption of resin in Russia for the period up to 2030.
The appendix provides contact information for producers and consumers of coal tar in Russia.
