This report is the third edition of the study of the beryllium market in the world and the EAEU countries.
The objective of the study is to analyze the global and Russian markets for beryllium, its compounds, and alloys.
The objects of the study are beryllium concentrate, metallic beryllium, and its processed products (beryllium bronze and master alloy, aluminum-beryllium master alloy, beryllium oxide).
This work is a desk study. The following sources of information were used: data from statistical committees of the EAEU countries (including Rosstat, the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan); international databases of the UN (UNdata), World Bank, Eurostat; international and European trade data (UN Comtrade, Trade Map); the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation (until 2022); the Unified Information System in Procurement; rail transportation statistics; the SBIS database; foreign specialized companies; annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers; Industry and regional press, conference materials, websites of manufacturers and consumers of the products under study; scientific and technical literature (e.g., elibrary), the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS) patent database; the InfoMine database, etc.
A distinctive feature of this report is that it presents a detailed market analysis of the Russian market for metallic beryllium and beryllium-containing alloys, thereby avoiding the mistakes made by similar studies conducted by other companies.
The study's chronology covers 2018-2025, with a forecast to 2030.
The study's geography includes the world, the EAEU countries, including the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan.
The report consists of 6 parts and contains 61 pages, including 19 tables, 13 figures, and 5 appendices.
The first chapter examines global and Russian beryllium reserves, presents the distribution of beryllium reserves by industrial type, deposit, and constituent entity of the Russian Federation, and outlines prospects for their development. It also reflects global trends in its use (global consumption structure).
The second chapter is devoted to beryllium production volumes globally, in the EAEU, and in the Russian Federation from 2018 to 2025, and provides an overview of the world's major beryllium producers and their products. Furthermore, a separate section of the chapter presents data on the implementation of beryllium projects in Russia.
The third chapter analyzes export and import operations in the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan involving beryllium-containing products from 2018 to 2025 (beryllium master alloy and bronze, aluminum-beryllium master alloy, and beryllium metal).
The fourth chapter of the report is devoted to price analysis. It presents price trends for metallic beryllium in Kazakhstan, Japan, and China from 2018 to 2025. It also provides Russian import prices for metallic beryllium, beryllium alloys and bronze, and aluminum-beryllium alloys from 2018 to 2025.
Chapter five analyzes beryllium consumption in Russia. It presents the dynamics of "apparent consumption" of beryllium in Russia in physical terms from 2018 to 2025 and provides the Russian consumption structure for 2025.
Chapter six provides a forecast for beryllium consumption globally and in Russia for the near future.
The appendices contain contact information for beryllium product manufacturers in the EAEU.
This review is the most comprehensive on this topic available on the market and is intended to serve as a reference guide. Using the data without further thorough analysis may lead to incorrect management decisions by marketing departments and specialists working in the beryllium market.
