This review is the fourteenth edition of the study of the calcium chloride market in Russia and the EAEU/CIS countries.
The market has been monitored since 1995.
The purpose of the study is to analyze the calcium chloride market in Russia and the EAEU/CIS countries.
The object of the study is calcium chloride, both in solution and in solid form.
This work is a desk study. The sources of information used were data from the State Statistics Committee of the CIS, the Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation (FSSS RF), State Balances of Mineral Reserves of the Russian Federation and the USSR, official statistics on rail transportation of PJSC Russian Railways, the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation (FCS RF) (until 2022), the National Statistical Committee (NSC) of the Republic of Belarus, the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan (RK).
The materials of the UN database (UNdata), Trade map, industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of issuers of securities, as well as websites of producers and consumers of calcium chloride, the InfoMine database were also used.
The features of this study are: in addition to the Russian market, consideration of the world market, markets of other EAEU/CIS countries; a detailed study of calcium chloride by type (granulated, liquid).
The chronological framework of the study: 1995-2024; forecast - 2025-2030/35.
Geography of the study: Russian Federation - comprehensive detailed analysis of the market, other EAEU/CIS countries - production volumes and foreign trade operations, world market - brief analysis.
The review consists of 7 parts, contains 108 pages, including 38 tables, 29 figures and an appendix.
The first chapter of the review provides a brief description of the world market of calcium chloride.
The second chapter provides information on existing calcium chloride production technologies, their features, and the raw materials required for production. This section also provides data on the main sources, directions, and volumes of raw materials supplies.
The third chapter of the review is devoted to the production of calcium chloride in the EAEU/CIS countries in 1995-2024. This section provides the requirements of existing regulatory and technical documentation for the quality of calcium chloride, statistical data on the volume of product production in the CIS countries, as well as in Russia (divided into solid and liquid), and describes the current state of the largest calcium chloride manufacturers.
The fourth chapter of the review provides data on foreign trade operations of Russia and the EAEU/CIS countries with calcium chloride in 2000-2024.
The fifth chapter presents information on the price level for calcium chloride on the domestic Russian market in 2024-2025, and also analyzes data on changes in export-import prices for this product in Russia in 2000-2024.
The sixth chapter of the review examines the consumption of calcium chloride in Russia. This section presents the production-consumption balance of this product in 2015-2024, the industry structure of consumption, describes the current state of the main industries consuming calcium chloride, as well as the current state and development prospects of the largest consumer enterprises.
The seventh chapter provides a forecast for the development of the Russian calcium chloride market for the period up to 2030/35.
The appendix provides addresses and contact information for the main enterprises producing calcium chloride.
Target audience of the study:
- calcium chloride market participants - manufacturers, consumers, traders;
- potential investors.
The proposed study claims to be a reference guide for marketing departments and specialists working in the calcium chloride market.
